Wow, I haven't posted here in a long time. And I'm sorry for that. I just got wrapped up in doing things the last two weeks before going away to college. I spent all this last week packing and I leave for my new home on Saturday. Plus I've been trying to hang out with my friends a little before I go, since I probably won't see them until Christmas. It's been a little crazy. But I have been reading and I wanted to post the book reviews for you.

The first book is Geek Magnet by Kieran Scott. This book is about a girl who attracts these really geeky and sometimes obnoxious guys. They all flock to her and want to be her friend or even more. The girl KJ is the stage manager for the show Grease at her high school and the book is broken up into acts. It's a really fun book. Review is under the cut and beware of spoilers
I really, really enjoyed this book. I find myself often a "magnet" for some people I would rather avoid, so I can sort of relate to KJ. And I've often felt these people latch on to me because I'm nice to them and listen when they say stuff. I do not however, have KJ's issue with lewd stalkers because of my boobs. Mostly because I am not particularly well-endowed. But back to the story. I loved Robbie and I was so happy KJ ended up with him because he sounds so sweet. I'm glad Mrs. Miller finally kicked out KJ's dad. He needed to wake up and get some serious help. This book was a ton of fun and I had a great time reading it. Robbie is probably my favorite character because he really doesn't mind being himself. I really want a sequel to this book.

Next I read Kitty Goes to Washington. This is the sequel to Kitty and the Midnight Hour which I reviewed a little while ago. In this one, Kitty is brought to Washington DC to speak to a committee about the existence of paranormal creatures. She meets new people and learns bit about how a pack doesn't have to be like the one she had before. She also has another run-in with Smith, the nut-job who boasts a cure. Review is under the cut. Beware the spoilers
This book also gets a 4.5 from me. It was really engaging and fun to read. I love Cormac and Ben busting into the basement in the end, looking like vampire slayers ready to raise hell. Ben is a great guy and a good friend to Kitty, even though he's her lawyer as well. I like her little cobbled together pack of friends. The Crescent sounds like a really interesting place, although I didn't really like how Ahmed didn't try to help out the Were's in his city. I did love the idea that Alette just wanted to be a mother though. She was really intriguing and I hope we'll see her again. Same goes for Luis. I was a bit shocked by what Leo did though. I actually sat there for a moment and said, "Bastard" out loud when I don't usually curse. I do not for a second think Smith is truly gone though. He may be banished for the moment, but he'll be back.

Last book is I Was A Non-Blonde Cheerleader by Kieran Scott. This book is about a girl named Annisa who moves from New Jersey to Florida when her dad gets a new job. Everyone at her new school is blonde, even those who wouldn't naturally be blonde. Oh, and they all hate her for various reasons. So when se tries out for the cheerleading team, can it only lead to disaster? Review under the cut, but no spoilers here.
This book was a lot of fun. I love Kieran Scott's voice and I can totally see the characters talking to me. There was much humor in this book and just enough romance to make you crave more. Annisa's trials seemed pretty realistic and yet, she the way she handled it was really interesting and at times funny. I want to see what happens with Daniel so much and I'm glad there are three more books. Bethany was also really interesting and I want to see more of her. Overall, this book gave me such a fun time while reading it. I loved it.
